The band have not been active since 2006 – but Odadjia posted a message on his Twitter page suggesting that a comeback may be on the cards.
"Are u guys ready for System???" he wrote.
Rumours of a System Of A Down reunion have abound at various points since they went on hiatus.

Odadjian recorded with members of the
Wu-Tang Clan and launched a new online music initiative. Meanwhile, guitarist
Daron Malakian started a new band called
Scars On Broadway, also featuring
System drummer
John Dolmayan.
Last November three of the band members joined Deftones on stage together in Hollywood for a benefit gig for Deftones bassist Chi Cheng, who is currently hospitalised.
