Tom Morello Breaks Up Street Fight
Tom Morello doesn't just preach peace he's prepared to act to keep it. The Rage Against The Machine guitarist proved his point by stepping in when an argument between a friend and a fan threatened to get violent after his concert in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Conversation between an associate of Morello and a protestor involved with the Occupy LA campaign got heated outside the Troubador venue following the musician's performance under his alter-ego the Nightwatchman. TMZ video shows Morello cutting in to tell the pair: "We're trying to bring it together here in LA. We're not on different sides." His intervention results in the men calming down and even shaking hands. Morello, who is one of many big names actively supporting the Occupy campaigns, recently told Rolling Stone: "This movement is unique in recent history in that it's identified the correct villain. Wall Street super-rich torpedoed the global economy. We're calling them out." Thanks for the report to RockNewsDesk.com.
