Van Halen Give Fans A Chance To Shred Along With 'Tattoo' In New Contest

Unless you've been living under a rock, you already know that Van Halen just issued "A Different Kind Of Truth", their first David Lee Roth-fronted album since their seminal "1984" release.

The 13-track collection was produced by John Shanks (Unwritten Law, Bon Jovi), Ross Hogarth (Sick Puppies, DevilDriver) and the band. "She's The Woman", one of the cuts on the new album, was originally demoed in 1976, but never made it onto any official releases. The group decided to record a new version of the song for "A Different Kind of Truth", and also have been performing it at the early shows on their current tour.

To celebrate Van Halen's triumphant return, the band is giving one of their fans a custom guitar in a new contest. All you have to do to enter is record a video of yourself playing guitar along to "Tattoo", the new album's first single.
