After a decade of absentism from the rockers Whitesnake some might be surprised to see a new album of there's on the shelves on April 22nd.
"The album contains all the elements that I enjoy about Whitesnake," frontman David Coverdale tells Billboard.com. "The responses I've been getting are that the album is a heady cocktail that embraces the whole history of Whitesnake within one album. Which was not planned, but fortunately, I'll drink two of those cocktails!"
Also the band are in planning to tour the U.S, After there current European tour with Def Leppard (whose also have an album set for realease).
And to top all this off fans may also be treated with a newly re-mastered 3 Disk CD to celebrate the bands 30th anniversary.
Thanks for the info to Billboard.com.

: I won't seek it this new album.
However, I do wish them well.
I wonder who's in the band with Coverdale.
Whitesnake has always been like Wings, with line up changes.POSTED: 03/10/2008 - 04:29 am / quote |

: "new album of there's" -- uh, yeah.
I know, I know, "quick nit-picking" you'll say. Well I say, quit screwing up!
Anyhow, all of my grammar fascism aside, I really hope that this new Whitesnake album is good. Coverdale has been in the game long enough, but we all know that doesn't always translate into great music. I've got my fingers crossed for this one and for the new Metallica album.POSTED: 03/10/2008 - 01:25 pm / quote |

: I "found" the album online last week and it's very good. I'm a huge fan of 1987 and this whilst not as good, it does have some elements of 1987/Slip Of The Tongue. Definately worth getting if you are a fan.
I'm going to see them in Melbourne at the end of March.POSTED: 03/10/2008 - 10:51 pm / quote |

: Good To Be Bad is an awesome album. Contains a good balance of the Classic Moody/Marsden and the flashy Sykes/Vandenberg styling all rolled into a fine album. One of the best albums to surface this year by far.
Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach. What a team. I always wished that Aldrich would throw a little hint of the Transformers theme seeing as he was in the band Lion back in the 80's.POSTED: 07/04/2008 - 09:34 pm / quote |
