So you can no longer buy Radiohead material at smaller stores, and larger stores have little to no interest in stocking albums by non-mainstream bands. Yeah, this'll curb the "piracy problem". Classy.

Really helps that (at this stage) this article isn't even on the site's front page because in recents news - Metallica are doing nothing! Thanks for giving a **** everybody!

That just shows you how unbelievably out of touch record companies are with the purchasing public.

I'm not. They turn grandmothers and 12-year-old children and have then pay unbelievable amounts of money, and they even have some people through in prisons.

I couldn't agree more. And the music industry wonders why music sales are down.

I have a solution for this, destroy every computer in the country. Illegal downloading has brought the music buisness to the ground. I know it is really difficult to find a store that sells old vinyl records or unknown bands because of that reason. It is a shame when the corprate monsters strangle every possible resource just to make money. Their attitude is if it isn't mainstream, it isn't music.
