The Dutch Radio station Kink FM recently called formerly Faith No More bassplayer Billy Gould for an exclusive interview. The guys from the metal show "Heavy Alternative" asked Billy the question...
Billy talked about the split of Faith No More. It took several years to get him back on track. As he says about the split: "The time in Faith No More took a lot of energy and we got pressure on us all the time. For 17 long years." He also added: "I needed a couple of years holiday. It got harder and harder."
Of course the guys from Heavy Alternative wanted to know if a
Faith No More reunion will ever take place. If we have to believe
Billy probably not: "If there's only one guy of 5 that want to go on, it ain't gonna work. Now
Faith No More is like an ex-wife. I have a drink with them once in a while, but nothing more than that."
Billy Gould is now a label owner and producer. He also plays two songs on the new Fear Factory record "Transgression" that comes out on the 23th of August 2005.
