godberry :
i don't really think "whiskey hangover" is heavier than their other stuff. they didn't really change up their sound up all that much on the last record. i'm looking forward to new music from them.

"You released "Whiskey Hangover" as something to hype your involvement with Crüe Fest 2, but is it just a taste of what's to come, or is it included on the new album?"

"Oh yeah. I mean, it's the No. 1 hit in the country right now — the song is No. 1 — so we'd be foolish not to put it on the new record."

See, if it was up to me, I wouldn't put it on the new album. Because at the 1st quarter of 2010 when this thing is gettin' released, most people are gonna be bored as shit with that song by then. It's gonna be like "blah blah blah, I already know this song (Skip track)." And another thing... in my opinion, it would just suck to be in a band where one person thinks he should do everything in the band. I can understand if you're a drummer and you fool around and write a song yourself (bass, guitar, drums, etc.) then present it to your 'mates, but one guy picking the album art, lyrics and how the songs should sound? That would piss me off.

It does sound the same as the others but its a pretty decent song. definately not in their top 10 songs on my list though
