Wow, he's very... angsty for someone who is like 60 years old and a rock and roll legend/millionaire.

Sad but true... I love the cult but rock N roll is dead... Just look at the number of comments on this... 5 on the cult 250 on emo band panic at the disco splitting up

Led Zeppelin 67 :
people have been saying rock and roll is dead for years. its not dead its just lifeless. the heros of rock and roll from the 50's, 60's, and 70's are now becoming defunct, and overshadowed by the emo and rap scene that is building in our society. music has become all about the business and not about the passion. rock takes image over quality of music. look at green day. three power chords no solos...but oh look his guitar has cool stickers on it, they have punk haircuts and have their guitars to their knees. the jonas brothers have pre-teen girls getting themselves off of their looks and their shitty disney music.

Led Zeppelin 67, you are absolutely 100% right. Most people today are listening to pop, really watered down rock and emo music. The Jonas Brothers are basically the epitome of what music is today, with all the little pre-teen girls saying "This is real rock!" when really bands like Led Zeppelin, the Who, Van Halen, etc. are REAL rock bands. And the same little pre-teen girls at Hannah Montana concerts doing the devil horns when they have no idea what it means when the only people in the building who know who Ronnie James Dio is are the very unfortunate dads that were forced to go. Rock is in a very sad state these days...

It'd be ****ing disappointing if they were serious about never recording again.

MacMan2001 :
iTunes didn't kill the album - the internet did. Without iTunes, you'd still have torrents and leaks before the album launched. Few people buy whole albums now anyway, just "the killer single" and a few others.

Rock is gonna get put back on the map, for sure. One day.
