quote from the very top of the article:
"This interview with Adam Day was conducted by Steven Rosen quite a long ago, though it is still very interesting. And now, the article is published on Ultimate-Guitar (by the author's authority)! "

This is pretty insightful. I have no clue how these guys set up such a rig and how any one thing changes the sound . Slash kicks ass....

Slash kicks ass. That guy who said GNR and VR are gay, listen buddy, all you have to do is see either one of these bands play live and you'll find it is one of the most exciting show ever.

This was pushed through either 12" or 15" Bogner bottoms and run slightly distorted with a Hot Plate [attenuator] to achieve more gain without increasing volume.

Hot Plates can actually suck some of your tone...

wouldn't say i'm Slashs' biggest fan, but when i hear all this stuff about 3 different amps bein combined to make 1 sound its all quite confusing. That would be due to me owning just a wee 10 watt Marshall and 15 watt Kustom practice amps lol. This is interestig stuff tho, enjoyed the article.

Although I think Slash is a very overrated guitarist, there is no way you can argue with his taste in gear.

F.Y.I. for the ppl that liked rockin out to VR's 1st CD, don't expect the same sound on the new one. They said they are goin more soft rock.

I'm not a technical type o guy, but being a guitar tech personally for a guitarist or a band sounds like a pretty cool job to me

the double neck sounds great...I went ot the VR concert when it came to town and their one encore (yes, they did more than one) was a cover of Wish You Were Here (sounded beautiful) and the guitar sounded great.
