Schecter Guitar Research Announces The 'Hellraiser Stage Depth Charge' Powered 4x12 Cabinet as Part of Schecter's New Amplification Division
Schecter Guitar Research announce its Hellraiser Stage Depth Charge powered 4 x 12 cabinet as part of the company's amplification division – Schecter Amplification. Joining the Hellraiser USA 100 Watt Head and Combo amps, as well as the Hellwin USA 100, in Schecter's amplification division, the Hellraiser Stage Depth Charge is an innovative speaker cabinet designed to sonically enhance sub-A440 tunings and 7 and 8-string instruments.

The internal 200-watt power module and crossover "amplify" and "focus" the low frequency - which can otherwise muddy up your tone, or simply cannot be handled by a "standard" 4x12 guitar cabinet. A sonically tuned chamber is built inside the Hellraiser Stage Depth Charge, giving it the appearance of normal cabinet, yet the Depth Charge is far from "normal." An on-board volume control allows you to "blend" how much sub-lows you need from the specially designed 12" speaker, while the 3 Celestion speakers add the traditional cut and tone you want.

The Depth Charge works extremely well with our "Focus" control (standard on all Hellraiser and Hellwin amps). The Depth Charge adds depth and body to impotent or thin sounding amps, making the tone controls seem more active. Another cool "after-the-fact" use of the Depth Charge is when in a live performance situation – as the sound engineer (or other band members) instruct you to turn your stage volume down – and you then get to the point where a once massive sound is now low and uninspiring, the Depth Charge returns that "umph" and the feeling of "moving air" that was sucked out of your tone.

The Hellraiser Stage Depth Charge 4x12 cabinet, along with the Hellraiser USA 100 Watt Head, the Hellraiser USA 100 Combo Amp and the Hellwin USA 100: Synyster Gates Signature Amp Head will be available to listen, and demo at the winter NAMM Conference 2014 inside their spacious upstairs Room 210-D.
