Alt-rock supergroup A Perfect Circle are about to embark on their first tour in six years. But, before starting that trek, Maynard James Kennan and friends stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night. The reunited band performed Weak And Powerless, off of their 2003 album, Thirteenth Step and a cover of John Lennon's Imagine. Check it out below. A Perfect Circle begin a 14-date tour of the western U.S. next week in Tempe, Arizona, before continuing on to Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco and Las Vegas. According to the band's website, all concerts have been sold out. A Perfect Circle has sold four million records in the US. After the band announced its hiatus in 2005, Keenan focused on Tool, launched the multimedia project Puscifer and worked on his burgeoning Arizona vineyards. Howerdel went on to form Ashes Divide, which released its debut album, "Keep Telling Myself It's Alright", in 2008. Maynard James Keenan has been promoting his Puscifer project and "Blood Into Wine", the documentary about his Arizona vineyard business, while also touring with Tool and reportedly prepping a new album with them.
Thanks for the report to Bryan Wawzenek, Gibson.com.
