Alice In Chains: 'Your Decision' Video

artist: alice in chains date: 12/01/2009 category: online downloads
rating: 0 / votes: 0

"Your Decision", the new video from Alice In Chains, can be viewed here. The clip was directed by Stephen Schuster, who previously worked with Alice In Chains on the "A Looking In View" video, and it features an appearance by "Project Runway" season three model Amanda Fields.

In a posting on Blogging Project Runway, Fields recently wrote about the video shoot, "It was so much fun and I felt like I was dreaming — the location was so surreal! It was this giant house between Santa Monica and Malibu off of the Pacific Coast Highway. You look out the window and see the beautiful blue Pacific!

"The band members, Jerry, Sean, Mike and William, were fun to work with and the director had such an incredible vision. The stylist, a friend of mine, Cory Savage, really knows how to make a rock video couture! The band members all wore crisp expertly tailored suits and the string quartet wore flowing white dresses with black lace blindfolds!! My wig was made out of feathers!"

"Your Decision" is the second single to be lifted from band's first all-new album in 14 years, titled "Black Gives Way To Blue", which sold 126,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 5 on The Billboard 200 chart (behind latest albums from Paramore, Mariah Carey, Barbra Streisand and Breaking Benjamin).

"Black Gives Way To Blue" was recorded with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush) at the Northridge, California studio of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.

Thanks for the report to Blabbermouth.net.

On that note....kind of a weak music video. Lacks the creativity that i know they're capable of....then again, don't they usually hire directors for these things? So maybe it's his fault.

Still a great song though.

This band would still work if the songs weren't CRAP.

Good thing they aren't, hence why they made a smash debut with the new singer. Get your head out of your ass.

Love the song, hope the video's decent too.

Yeah, "good" is one of the words that comes to mind when listening to the album, but LIVE... oh my god

I saw 'em live month and I must say, William is just AWESOME. Not once out of key, hitting all the low and high notes, playing guitar parts for a fuller sound and just the general feel to his performance... I can understand why some people are still sceptical about him fronting this band but he just pours his entire soul into every song as if he'd written them himself.

One of the best gigs I've ever been to but then again I've been a huge fan of them for a long time and this show was long overdue...

That's about as ironic as Alanis Morissette's song

Seriously, you should do a Youtube search for "Ed Byrne Ironic" and click on the first result. Trust me, you'll never make that mistake again...
