Black Sabbath played a stunning homecoming gig in Birmingham, England this weekend. Audio and fan footage of the concert are available below.
It was the first time the group had played in the town for 13 years, albeit without original drummer Bill Ward due to a contractual dispute. His role was instead filled by Tommy Clufetos, a member of Ozzy Osbourne's solo band.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you Birmingham," said bassist Geezer Butler after the performance (via Blabbermouth). "Best fans ever - you brought out the best in us. It was a privilege playing for you tonight. Tony [Iommi, guitarist] was a hero - you were the best medicine he has had. Proud to be a Brummie."
Tickets for the event had sold out within 10 minutes of going online. If you couldn't make it, the show was filmed professionally, potentially for a DVD release in the future.
