According to Blabbermouth.net, NME TV conducted an interview with vocalist Andrew Biersack of Los Angeles theatrical rockers Black Veil Brides when the band played at Rock City in Nottingham, England on October 8. You can now watch the chat below.
"Every accomplishment we've had - and there's been plenty, especially this year - we take them and we appreciate them, but it's always, you've gotta take it as it's another step towards the ultimate goal, and for us, we wanna be the biggest band in the world," Biersack said.
"And when I say that, I don't mean it in a way of someone trying to show you how big their dick is, so to speak, someone who's trying to tell you about how impressive they are. We truly believe that with hard work, dedication and perseverance, we can be the best at what we do, and I think anyone believes that; nobody wants to become mediocre."
Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne) has recorded a guest appearance on the cover version of the KISS song "Unholy", to be included on the forthcoming "Rebels" EP from Black Veil Brides. Due this Christmas, the EP will also feature a cover of Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" and an original song.
Black Veil Brides postponed several shows on its recent U.K. tour after Biersack broke his nose in Luxembourg on October 26.
Even though Biersack and his bandmates played sold-out concert on October 29 at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, they released an official statement the next morning announcing their decision to cancel their shows at Wolverhampton Civic Hall (October 30) and Bristol O2 Academy (November 1), as well as their Oxford Street HMV signing and special Halloween show at London's Borderline on October 31.
In an interview with Revolver magazine, Biersack said he suffered his most recent injury as a result of his "typical routine to entertain the crowd ... rolling around and being crazy".
Was going to pipe up with something along the lines of what has already been said. Luckily it already has.
Crap band who are relying on image. Not going anywhere but to the walls of emo kids.
Big band already, but they won't become the biggest band in the world. Not anything new either but they don't sound that bad on the record. not heard them live tbh. but all the hate because of image? kiss? gwar? slipknot? mushroomhead? a few band where the image is there but shit these guys are all pretty popular in their own right. so to me BVB are another band who have an image and okish music, nothing special but nothing terrible.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAH HAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA HA AHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... oh... they're serious? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA this isn't nes this is a joke...
pretty bold statement for a hot topic band who at there worst sounds like bad cliche whatever-core and at there best sound like bad glam ripoffs. how bout u focus on writing a song that doesnt suck first?
a band that looks like a 30 year old Motley Crue playing the same scream/melodic shit that all the remains, bullet for my valentine, parkway drive etc has already been doing for the past 10 years?
I have a friend who was a HUGE fan of BVB. Before they got real big and famous, she went to one of their concerts. Apparently the lead singer is a huge dick and pretty much acted like a mini Gene Simmons. Music was all business to him. Personally I couldn't get into their music at all because its so bad. These harsh comments toward them make me laugh.. because they pretty much deserve it.
Not gonna lie, I do enjoy Black Veil Brides. They're not original at all, though. They're ripping off KISS and Motley Crue, and the kids that listen to them are too stupid to look back on the band's "idols" to know that they're faking it.
I don't know which is more entertaining, the statement itself, or the comments on this page.
On a serious note I don't think anyones going to look back and think "WHOA remember BvB?!". I could be wrong but I just think that they are bad, man...
Well maybe if they were to stop being so image obsessed and focus on writing good music, you could. Oh wait, good bands don't care about being the biggest bands in the world, they care about writing good music.
Do you think Cynic, BTBAM, Opeth, Dredg, Porcupine Tree, Bright Eyes, and other really well put together bands care about being the biggest band in the world? Nope, because they're more focused on their music.

Becoming the biggest band in the world is actually simple.
Step 1. Don't suck.
Step 2. Become biggest band in the world.
Sadly. Black Veil Brides will be stuck on step 1 until they write original and interesting music. And we all know that will NEVER happen.
Sucking or not is not a factor in being popular. Many popular bands and artists suck. They just exploited the fact most people like simplistic, catchy crap in order to become popular.

There is a big difference between Slipknot's image and BVB's image one looks badass and the other looks emo
A bunch of stupid try-hard masks is in no way, shape, or form "bad-ass". It's a stupid gimmick to take people's focus away from the bland and incredibly simplistic music they try to shove out.
They seem so arrogant.. "Every accomplishment we've had - and there's been plenty, especially this year" just wow lol. And i read the guitar world where they were in it and almost every category (which were best riff you've heard this year, best song, etc.) the guitarist picked his own stuff. I don't like that.
I saw an interview with these guys in guitar world where the question was "whats the best riff/song you have heard this year" and their answer to both was one of their songs. This along with their admission that they have had "plenty" of accomplishments this year speaks volumes about their modesty
I don't get why everyone hates on BVB. Andy is a good singer, and Jake Pitts and Jinxx are great guitarists. Granted, they aren't the biggest band in the world, nor will they ever be. But these guys are damn good at what they do. And what's with all the "they need to be original" comments? Nobody is truly "original" these days. Look at all these cookie-cutter, disney channel bands. They are all the same sh*t. BVB has a hell of a lot more talent than a lot of newer bands, but they ain't the greatest. That is all.
Sometimes I guess it's one persons view on who the top band in the world is... EVERY BAND IN THERE OWN WAY ARE THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD. Everyone is entitled to there opinions and personally BVB is an awesome band. Everyone has there own taste in who's band is the best and BVB IS ONE OF THE BEST.
kuddos to the dude above me. thats pretty much how I feel. I mean lets face facts, there are so many bands in the world now that its near impossible to be truly original. Every band wants fame, thats why theyre a band... if they didnt want to then they wouldnt have been noticed. I admit that for my own band. Its all about preferance. Everyones different, period. Good band I like how theyre so... extreme. I may get flamed, I may not. I really dont care.

Yea i read the same interview, i thought they were so arrogant!! I gotta give em credit, good guitar players, thats it. Otherwise they appeal to 12-15 year olds and definitely not memorable music. No ones gonna say "Hey! Remeber BVB?" in 20 years.
They will be remembered by people twenty years from now. It's just some people don't care for BVB, however; a ton of people do. They got my vote for sure!!!
Hey guys, I know I'm gonna get lots of hate for this but I don't think these guys are terrible for doing what they love. They loved spending most of their childhood dressing up like Kiss and Motley Crew.
They're not trying too hard [@Siege312] because they love the theatricality of performing.
Some people are gonna think what I believe is ****in stupid, but its like people are trying to hate them.
They had a lot of people hate them all throughout their lives, they shouldn't have to take anymore shit. If this is what they want to do, and you don't like it, shut the **** up
Guys, I honestly don't see what's wrong with their music at all, and this coming from a HUGE Dream Theater fan. At first I didn't like them that much, but then they started to grow on me. Andy is isn't a bad singer at all, he has a good rough voice that suits their music very well. As for the look, I don't mind it at all, once again, it suits their music. If this is what they want to do, let them do it, be supportive of them for doing what they love. They are overall a good band who are a bit overrated and very over hated. It might not be everyones cup of tea, but it is mine and I think that they are good at what they do
But in all fairness, some of their songs are pretty good. What I hate about them, though, is how they say they're metal, but they're rock... hardly heavy rock. And to all those comparing them to KISS, etc., check out Immortal. They copy them a bit...
Megadeth > Iron Maiden > Tool > Lamb of God > Metallica > Pantera > Cradle of Filth > Slayer > Mastodon > Meshuggah > Job for a Cowboy > Ke$ha > Black Veil Brides.
End of story, Blythe does not sound like Phil, he is better.
Wow, I didn't realize that there were so many *******s on here... lol. BVB are great, despite what anyone has to say on here. How about one of you write a ****in' decent song, huh? Then you can talk shit about them.
