Bob Dylan Streams New Album 'Tempest'

The new Bob Dylan album "Tempest" is available to stream in full on iTunes.

It is the 25th album of Dylan's long and illustrious career, and will be released in the US on September 11. It also marks 50 years since his self-titled debut was first released in 1962.

The 10-track album features a special tribute to John Lennon titled "Roll On John". The title track "Tempest" is a 14-minute epic inspired by the Titanic, 100 year after its ill-fated voyage across the Atlantic.

Dylan produced the album under the pseudo name Jack Frost, just as with his last few studio albums.

In April Dylan was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest honor that can be awarded to a civilian, for his influence on the civil rights movement in the 1960s.

I dunno... He is a voice of a generation and he said some very poignant things, but, I think that Bob Dylan is gone, and though his message seems just as important and relevant as ever, I think he isn't as relevant as his message. Sad.

And Crazysam, you could say the same about Kurt Cobain.

Yeah! You know, the same front page of a music website that gave the headlining space to a story about the size of Avril Lavigne's wedding ring! And the same front page of a music website that throws Mustaine there every time he says something idiotic! Relevance, man!

Come on man! I tend to think that some people just don't get it any more! Bob has been constantly touring since his breakup with Sarah in 88 and he even nick named it the never ending tour and you know what 'everyone' caught on and called it the same thing..... spooky! Listen to his works and switch minds and experience from inside Bob's head, you will hear totally different words and phasing (master of that that he is) so many references to Sarah and his marriage, you would have to be soooo dumb to miss them. Even this album (when I heard it last) will cement his love for Sarah (although personally I think he and Joan really should have stuck it out, but cant blame Joan for that Bob was just being an arsehole at the time). No doubt he regrets a lot too. He has been as "poignant" as anyone (was is that word?)and his 'generational voice' is heard all over the world and half those that hear it can't stand it but they 'listen' none the less. What a lot of crap people read into things. There is not necessarily a secrete hidden message in every lyric that's sung or word that is written (except in these ones, of course). He not busy being born is busy dyin'

As much as I love Bob Dylan his voice is really gargled on this album. Kinda ruins it for me.

Great Album. Pay In Blood and Tin Angel are two of the best songs he's released recently.
