Britney Spears Goes Goth For Marilyn Manson's 'Sweet Dreams'

Britney Spears is apparently a big fan of Marilyn Manson - big enough to make this goth-tastic video for his cover of the Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)". Watch below.

The video recently leaked online after being shown as an interlude during Britney's live show a several years ago.

Although you won't find Manson in the vid, Spears fills the creepiness void with plenty of masked dancers and masked make-out sessions.

A Britney-Manson mashup would have been a heck of a lot crazier in the late '90s, but we'll take it.

(1) Labelling songs "great", "good", "crap" or what have you is nothing more than an expression of opinion. If you think that "Sweet Dreams" never was a good song, I'll leave you to your view of things but I think that the original is great.

(2) Metal fans have always been obsessed with the speed and technical complexity of the parts that their heroes play. I would argue that faster and more difficult parts alone don't necessarily make a song more demanding to perform; even pop songs with relatively easier parts can take a lot of effort to perform well as a band.

(3) If you're aren't speaking sarcastically and honestly can't hear the difference between the main themes of "Sweet Dreams" and "Crazy Train", do some more ear training. I'll give you the first chord and steady 8th-note rhythm, but after that they just aren't alike.
