Corey Taylor Performing With Korn: Video Available

A video clip of Slipknot/Stone Sour singer Corey Taylor joining Korn on the main stage of Day 2 of the U.K.'s Download Festival on June 10 for a rendition of the song "Clown" has been posted online at YouTube.com.

As previously reported, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis was unable to play the show after being taken ill, and Korn ended up using a variety of guests during the concert, including singers from Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Devildriver, Skindred, Trivium.

In related news, Stone Sour's new single, "Through Glass", is available for listening in streaming audio at this location. The track comes off the band's upcoming sophomore album, "Come What(ever) May", due in the U.S. on August 1. The CD was recorded at a Los Angeles studio with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver) and marks the group's first effort since the departure of drummer Joel Ekman. Ekman has since been replaced by Roy Mayorga, who had previously played with Soulfly in addition to recently completing a European tour with Sepultura. A Stone Sour e-card for "Come What(ever) May" has been launched at this location. The tracks "Reborn", "30/30-150", and "Through Glass" can be heard on the e-card, and the video for "30/30-150" is also available for viewing. The clip, which was shot in Los Angeles with director Paul Brown (Mötley Crüe, Otep), received a "Headbanger's Ball" premiere on 06/03.

Stone Sour's new album will follow up the group's 2002 self-titled debut, which went gold and featured the hit single, "Bother".

I think Corey Taylor should get involved with an actual rock band. He'd be an excellent vocalist that actually sings the whole time on every song, rather than screaming or "rapping". don't get me wrong, I had my slipknot phase, but it's getting washed out.

Then you obviously didn't listen to "Through Glass". Nary a scream, rap, grunt, or anything like that. Just 100% pure class from Corey.

Loved the new song, loved the video, Corey makes a good Jonathan Davis-replacement, and all that jazz.

I want my copy of my old Stone Sour CD back ;_;

People have different music tastes which evolve through the years, it happens.

The new song is awesome... it's great to see more softer stuff from these guys, I loved Bother but was a little disappointed when it was the only real soft song on their first album. Glad to see these guys are still going in that direction.

Through Glass is a good song. I always liked Corey Taylor's voice, and I'm glad we get to hear it more in Stone Sour than the rougher vocals of Slipknot.

And you can find that hat at Hot Topic. At least the one where I live.
