Eric Blair of "The Blairing Out With Eric Blair Show" conducted an interview with Glenn Danzig at the Musink Tattoo Convention & Music Festival on February 22, 2009 at the Orange County Fair & Expo Center in Costa Mesa, California. Watch the eight-minute chat here.
Danzig is currently working on a new studio album, tentatively due before the end of the year. The CD will feature a song called "Long Dark Road", which is decribed by Glenn as "very creepy and echo-y. It's like an old kind of '50s-ish kind of song. I've been having in my head probably for about six, seven, eight years. I haven't gotten around to recording it, and I recorded it, so it's pretty cool."
Danzig last year toured as part of 2008's "
Blackest Of The Black" trek which also included
Dimmu Borgir,
Moonspell,
Winds Of Plague and
Skeletonwitch.
Danzig's lineup for the trek was as follows:
Glenn Danzig - Vocals
Tommy Victor (Prong) - Guitar
Steve Zing - Bass
Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative) – Drums
