In keeping with the true and evolving nature of music sharing, live-casting, and capitalism-be-damned distribution of music, Radiohead and their fans offer us this treat from their 2008-2009 In Rainbows tour (via RIOB).
On August 23rd 2009, a group of over 50 flip-camera carrying Readiohead-heads attended a show in Prague and filmed the concert from various positions in the crowd.
The visual footage was then edited together, professional audio was provided by the band, and voil¨¢, we now have the golden standard with which to compare fan-made videos from concert.
So next time you and your iPhone want to capture shaky footage of your favorite band and put your arm up in front of the 5¡ä 2¡å girl behind you, make sure you¡¯re as organized as these guys.

This is actually pretty amazing news. "(Nice Dream)" is a total rarity and if there was a concert that needed a pro-shot on the last tour it was most definitely this one. Not to mention, it's FREE! Definitely a good start to the day.
This is actually great footage and editing. Maybe if they have a couple of cameras onstage and overhead, it would be even better. Edit between the pros and the amateurs.
urghhh, I got through to the website and it's a 7gb+ download! Looks like I'll be waiting until I move to my new house with a better connection for this.
There's also a really good couple of shows that were fan shot and edited with audio off the board back in 79 or 98... There's actually lots of shows that have great video from this last tour, some with professional audio as well. None the less this one has a very interesting setlist and it's cool that it's being done like this. I think this is the largest-scale of any of this 'fan made' set ups I've seen yet.
Providing the masters from the show further shows Radiohead's savvy when it comes to dealing with their fans, and the internet. It's awesome that Daft Punk did this as well... Did anyone claim this was a first?
Band like Daft Punk and Radiohead, love them, hate them, or anything in-between, are setting the new standards for how a band functions in the 21st century.

I don't even have enough space left on my computer for that
No seriously. They had fans with HD cameras for the last Lights In The Sky show for their DVD (and no, I'm not talking about The Gift footage that Trent delivered).

and they burned dvds for the fans for free!! with high quality dvds/paper/sticker/etc
So I'm trying to download the AVI version from Megaupload, and the friggin' thing keeps petering out around 92% of the way through because I keep exceeding their download limit or something. You can't even download the files because they're too big! What a ripoff...
I cant believe this, this is AWESOME,
Radiohead are one of the best musical talents of our time, and even though I dont care for Rolling Stone anymore, I like that they named "Kid A" album of the decade.
I don't like Radiohead's music, but I certainly respect them as a band. They seem like really nice, down to earth guys that know what's good for the music industry these days.
