Dream Theater Stream New Album In Its Entirety

You can now stream Dream Theater's 'A Dramatic Turn of Events' in its entirety.

Roadrunner Records' German office posted the long-awaited 11th studio album from the progressive-metal goliaths on their official website. Mixed by world class engineer Andy Wallace [Slayer, Nirvana], it's the strongest Dream Theater record in years. It's also the first time new drummer Mike Mangini (Extreme) has recorded with the group. "What's really special about him is, he's not just a technician," keyboardist Jordan Rudess said about working with veteran drummer. "Yes, he plays his parts perfectly, but he comes at everything as a total musician. Everything he does has real soul and a depth of feeling."

Try using a proxy server. I don't know how but I know people in China use them to get onto banned websites such as BaceFook. Google will have the answer.

I don't understand why Roadrunner Germany has a page that you can't view if you're in Germany.

Breaking All Illusions is amazing. I bought the album on Friday and I've been listening to it all weekend. Definitely didn't disappoint. Mangini is a little shy (for a Dream Theater drummer) but he still gets the job done and then some. Ruddess stepped up as well. Myung, while solid, is still low key on most of it. LaBrie doesn't sound bad at all too.

Eh, it's forgettable. The only good tunes are the ones over 10+ minutes on this album and "On The Backs Of Angels". Very proggy, definitely get a Rush vibe while listening to it.

Every Dream Theater album after "Train of Thought" took me a couple of listens to love them. This album only needed one to get into it. One thing I will say though, the lyrics don't jump at me like the past albums. Kinda forgettable. :S Nonetheless great musicianship.
