With the staggering success of the Exodus live-from-the-studio streams this past week, Exodus guitarist Gary Holt's first "One-on-One with Gary Holt" live stream took place Monday, December 14th. The live session can be streamed here.
States Holt:
"The live streams have been great. We were more than shocked at the number of people tuning in to check things out. Sometimes we may have to break from the job at hand, but I think it's worth it and I think the fans dig it.
"
Rob [Dukes] just thought it would be a good idea to do the one-on-ones, since we get a lot of questions mixed in for everybody when we are doing it together. This way, we can answer more specific questions one person at a time. Everybody will be doing a one-on-one. Mine is tonight at six [p.m. Pacific Time]; the rest to follow."
If you have questions you'd like to ask Gary Holt, post them in the "Comments" section of the band's Facebook page. Fans can also submit questions in real time via the social stream / live tab on the Exodus Facebook page or at the microsite on Nuclear Blast USA's web site.
All previous live streams - including the "Camp Crunch Sessions" 1 & 2 - have been uploaded onto the Exodus YouTube channel. Exodus are currently in Northern California recording their upcoming 2010 album, The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit B, with producer Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Arch Enemy, Kreator).
Shovel Headed Tour Machine: Live At Wacken & Other Assorted Atrocities, Exodus' first DVD (2 DVDs + bonus audio CD) featuring Rob Dukes on vocals, will be released in North America on January 12th, 2010.
Exodus will soon be on tour with Arch Enemy, Arsis, and Mutiny Within on the Tyrants Of Evil tour, which launches in Towson, Maryland on January 20th, 2010.
