Flyleaf are currently streaming their new album, Memento Mori, on their UG Profile! Memento Mori, in-stores today 11/10, means "Remember Mortality."
Guitarist Sameer explains, "..because our time is so short, and it comes to an end, we need to take advantage of the time we have now to live the lives we always dreamed of living."
When talking about the album message
Sameer mentions, "
We wanted the record to be timeless, because the theme of the phrase "Memento Mori" is a timeless theme."
During the duration of the band, three members have dealt with the passing of a loved one or a personal illness which inspired them to name the new album Memento Mori, as a reminder to live every day to the fullest.
The video for first single, Again (watch it at this location), is currently being played on MTV, MTVU, MTV2, Music Choice, Fuse, etc. And the single is already Top 20 on the rock and alternative charts.
The band is currently on tour through the Fall.
