Glue Gun have posted two new songs, that will appear on their third studio album, on MySpace. The songs are called "Plastic Bomb" (a cover of Poisen Idea) and "Shadow Government". Frontman Bob Oedy has confirmed that Glue Gun will start touring this July. Their tour will embark their first performance since remaining silent in 1996. Here is the message about the band's future, posted by Oedy on Myspace:
"Our latest recording is up on the site. We did a version of the Poisen Idea song "Plastic Bomb". Let us know what you think...
"We also wrote a new tune called "Shadow Government". Both are available for you to listen to and download. Looks like we'll have a couple of shows in July. I'll let you know the details when we know for sure.
"Enjoy!
"Bob"
As of now, Glue Gun are still in the process of recording the new album. The record label, album title and release date for it are still unconfirmed. The new album will also be their first studio release since 1996's "The Scene is Not for Sale" and the first to feature the recent line-up Bob Oedy (vocals) and three Jughead's Revenge members Joey Rimicci (guitar), Brian Priess (bass) and Andy Alverez (drums).
