With their infectious, hard-hitting rap-rock tracks and tireless touring, Los Angeles' Hollywood Undead have built a rabid base of dedicated fans.
In appreciation of those fans, the band has unveiled a free download of "Dead Bite", the first taste of their as-yet-untitled upcoming album. The track is available on the band's site, and the lyric video is streaming now on YouTube. Keep an eye out for the official first single, dropping October 30th.
The masked band members of Hollywood Undead currently consist of Charlie Scene, Da Kurlzz, Danny, Funny Man, J-Dog, and Johnny 3 Tears.
The band has sold over 1 million records in the United States alone, and about 1.5 million records worldwide. Their new album is the follow-up to 2011's "American Tragedy", which debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200.
It's a great song. What people on this site need to realize is that just because it ain't "br00tlz" doesn't mean it's automatically bad. Same goes for stuff like old nu-metal and newer bands with more electronic sounds. Music is music.
I used to like them, but I lost respect for them for 'ambushing' the guy who left. I hope they make up for that by making some good music like before...
Linkin Park may have been driven by teenage angst, but their lyrics were more relatable than 'Johnny 3 tears' rapping about killing 'Bitches'. They try far too hard.
