Eventually, this was bound to happen. Jack White has produced an Insane Clown Posse single, in which the horror rappers spit rhymes over a Mozart composition. Yes, that’s right: White helmed a record on which Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J rap to Mozart’s “Leck Mich Im Arsch”, dating from 1782, according to Rolling Stone.
The 7-inch single includes “Mountain Girl” on the b-side and will be available starting September 13 from Third Man Records. You can listen to a full version of the song at Third Man Records’ website.
Although many might be confused by the teaming up of White and ICP, the artists have a couple of things in common. They all hail from Detroit and tend to rely heavily on the colors white and black in their looks. As far as where Mozart fits in – your guess is as good as ours.
So hilarious. Honestly, if you guys weren't expecting this, you don't know jack about jack White. And if you don't think it's hilarious, you aren't true fans.
Plus, this is mainly a publicity stunt for Third Man.
