DVD - my ass. I'm hoping for blu-ray and CD. I love the way Scott drums on the classics. I've always wanted them to do like Testament and re-record the old stuff and make it sound good.
So glad I got to see them on this tour. Though, it's kind of disappointing to see that Halford uses the same transitions between songs in every show, kind of like it's mechanical.
Wish I could've been there. Especially with Saxon opening.
The states got stuck with Black Label Society as an opener. My ears were forcefully raped with unwanted pinch harmonics & awful tone.
Thank you for saying that! Zakk's solo was about 10 minutes too long, and WAY too loud. I don't mind the band, but I mean..Saxon..Gods!
Anyway, I have a slight feeling that Priest will miss us as much as we are going to miss them. I don't know if they will tour like that ever again, but we might see some activity out of the Priest.
I saw them recently at Hovet in Stockholm on April 26th.
On of my favorite bands of all time and I'm glad I got to see them before this.
I do hope to hear some new material in the years to come but until then \m/ Priest will rock FOREVER \m/
You know, Judas Priest isn't going anywhere. They're just saying it MIGHT be their last major world tour. They're working on a new album right now, and a tour will follow that! Don't worry, we'll have at least one more chance to hear the ongoing legends that are JUDAS PRIEST!
Do you know what's even more amazing? they did come to Venezuela last september. It was the first and apparently the last time i saw them, and it was ****ing amazing. Whitesnake opened, not as awesome as saxon, but i still loved it when they played "burn". As for priest, hell, you could feel the flames in your face when they played "breaking the law". It's exactly as they played it on that last show, with the speech, the flames, and the fact that halford didn't need to sing it. I don't give a shit if it's the same setlist, i'd kill to see that again.
