Korn: 'Evolution' Video Online

Korn's video for the band's new single, "Evolution", has been posted online:

"Evolution" comes off Korn's eighth studio LP, which has been left untitled. The CD is scheduled for release on July 31.

The band kicked off the latest edition of the Family Values tour on July 20 in St. Louis, with more than a dozen bands on two separate stages, including Evanescence, Hellyeah, Flyleaf, Atreyu, Trivium and others.

Korn revealed last week that their next project could be a collection of cover tunes. The band has already cut versions of songs by Faith No More, Nine Inch Nails and the Psychedelic Furs.

what? that video was mediocre at best...i guess it fits the song well...but way to point out the friggin obvious Korn...we already know through South Park that at least 1/4 of American is retarded (not disabled, but stupid)...gah...sometimes I have to go listen to Issues to remind myself that Korn was EVER a good band to listen to...

It may have not been apparent, but I am a KoRn fan, ahve been for years. Opeth, Pink Floyd, Rush, and Metallica over-took them as my favorite bands, but I grew up on KoRn.

I am still not sure about this album though, but the single made sense. I don't agree with how extreme and exaggerated the way they sent out their message, but I agree with it, that as a species we are self-destructive and are in a sense, much like the primates

They are known to enjoy fighting and violence, highly territorial, and have no respect for other's that are not in their clique. They are highly emotional, greedy, gluttonous when they can be, have many offspring when they can, etc.

There are even territorial wars between monkey groups.


They don't seem too distant from us, just a less intelligent version of us. Same politics, same ideals, same entertainment, just harrier than most of us.

On topic: I thought the song and video were pretty good, considering how shitty their last album was. This sounds a lot better (not great though, it was still the same easy riffs over and over again), but maybe there is hope glooming over the horizon for Korn.

The song was better than their last two albums (combined,) but it's still a far cry from their first album and issues. I miss old Korn. The video was okay, if a bit heavy handed, but i liked the ending.

ive been thinking the same thing to... if this is their best song then this album wont be as great. i've always been a loyal korn fan, and yeah the days with out head have sucked but what are u gonna do? im still gonna buy the album cuz i've got to believe there will be another good 3-4 songs on it...

Are you kidding? Korn have one of the best live shows I've seen. Flyleaf is good live. But Atreyu was ABYSMAL when I saw them... and Trivium just shouldn't play their old tunes if Matt's just going to "growl" it. I did like the video though... a little over exaggerating... but it was good. New album is decent as well

+1. i love Issues the best, and ive actually began to listen to it again. if Untitled sucks, ill expect Korn to break up (and ill hope for it)

i also think korn is on the verge of a break up. Jon is getting old, half the band is gone, and quite frankly there pumping out waaayyyyy too many albums without taking the time to really make a great one. my predictions for the future, they break up....then pull a RATM and re-unite with a major bang. I really like Korn, and I still like the stuff they're coming out with. It's actually good (despite what a lot of people will say) that they can evolve (pun unintended).

I read part of this book and wasn't too impressed. People always find religion or jesus when they are down and out. Wasn't like he looked around and said, "Hey, my life is awesome! I think I'll give it to jesus now". Seems he just didn't want to do the difficult soul-searching to find his own path and make ammends for his f*ck ups. So he took the easy out and "asked for forgiveness". Whatever!

When all else fails there is always an open pew at the nearest church. I'll second the yawn...
