"Wrath" sold around 68,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 2 (behind Taylor Swift's "Fearless") on The Billboard 200 chart.
Lamb Of God performed at the sixth edition of D-Tox Rockfest on June 17 in Montebello, Quebec, Canada. This marked the group's first and only 2011 appearance.
It's no different to Wrath or any of their recent albums or songs. Just more recycled stuff. They were a good band with potential. I'm going to get negatives due to this, but I don't care.
Well they've found a formula that works for them. If you say it all sounds the same, just break down all the parts and listen to them, it might help somewhat. Just take it for what it is, they didn't say they were bringing anything new so don't think it's a given.

Well, you're speaking with honesty and not needlessly trashing shit. So you'll not be getting a "negative" for having a sound opinion without being an ass. Keep being cool on the Internet.

I'll second that. I still enjoy LoG's music. It maybe sounds the "same" cuz thats just their essence. It's still a new album wether it sounds the same or not! And thats awesome news! Plus, who can understand fans?! If they threw out some wierd and different experimental album fans bash em. If they come out with an album more or less the same as the past one, fans bash em! God, the humanity!
Delete my comment for calling them clones of Pantera clones?
Fuck it. I'll say it again.
That is what they are.
I'm just stating my observations.
Not defaming; just calling a duck a duck.
Do you know why I didn't get an email with a warning?
It's because my comment followed site policy. Deleting it doesn't, though. I really don't give a **** if you agree with my opinion or if you even respect it. And I'm not saying that what I posted wasn't a little childish, but deleting a statement because you don't agree with it is even more so. It's kind of hilarious.
The worst part is: they don't even imitate Pantera's good material, just, like, the Reinventing the Steel stuff.

No they're not clones of Pantera actually, does anyone agree with this guy?
I agree with some of you guys, sounds like they are recycling their own material unfortunately...they're not clones of Pantera, they're clones of their past

I certainly don't agree with him, I don't know why you could even come close to making the comparison.
Pantera and LOG are both what I like to call as American Heavy Metal. However, Pantera are more thrash-driven; LOG is driven by technicality.
I would say the attitude of the bands are very similar but the music is not.
On topic, I've never been disappointed with Lamb of God. This seems to be a little disappointing though, mainly because it sounds like a B-Side from Wrath. I might be really disappointed because of the fact that they themselves said that the album would be extremely different. This single isn't a good way to advertise that.
Pretty solid. As the palaces burn is one of my all time favorite albums, I wish they still had that raw sound. Anyways, good stuff. After sacrament I was worried, but wrath was good and it seems they are on the right track!

I know what you are saying,b ut I think they found their sound when recording Wrath, and I see no problem with them sticking with it. Bands that change alot from every album risk losing fans and I'm happy they don't do that.
Still, there is a small chance of this song being made of leftover-riffs that was made during the writing process of Wrath, so it's not time to judge yet.
I bought Wrath, and this album will be on my shelf too.
oh my god what is the point in arguing if they are a "pantera clone" which by the way is ****ing impossible. there is no more pantera. there is lamb of god though, and they sure are one of the best ****ing metal bands ever, so no one cares about your pantera-ripoff comment go die
