The band will hit the road this summer in support of the new album.
Wow, that was an unhealthy dose of nostalgia. Kinda bums me out that Wes never accomplished much as a solo artist/gun for hire. I can recall hearing he was working with Maynard or Reznor at one point. Too long ago to remember. Always thought he was the one redeeming aspect of their music. Truly original and interesting guitar player. Too bad he couldn't take it to a greater, more impressive level. But alas, here he is playing guitar for Limp Bizkit again.
I'm speechless because I NEVER thought I would ever see or hear anything entertaining from them again. The song is just typical UFC-core, but I think if they don't take themselves too seriously and just do what they do they'll find success again.
I really like this song, the entire album has it's ups and downs, but it's mostly ups, haha. Love it, they're good to be back. In addition to what the other dude said about wes, it needs to be mentioned John Otto and Sam Rivers are great musicians as well, their playing is tight as hell on GC, as well as the older albums!
This video is as perfect as you can get for Limp Bizkit. They said that if you hated them before, you would hate this album, so they went and made an album and video that could've easily been seen in 1999-2002. And I couldn't be happier with the result, lol.
Haha! Loved the video.
To the people who don't get it - Clearly, this video os a parody of what people hate about them. Its cheesy to a DELIBERATE level. The Lamborghini, Wes's dubbed monologue intro with that lisp, that MJ thriller jacket and glove, the moonwalk, Borland and Durst humping the car, mocking the Rollin' video with the same silly dance with a bunch of girls backing, and THE B(.)(.)BS!
What they did was EXACTLY what will make people go "what the f*#k is this sh*t?". They're definitely not taking the video seriously. Its a cheese factory! I found it kinda hilarious. And the song is so much better than 90% of the stuff that the "core" bands are coming up with today, anyway.
P.S. - Killer album, too. First day buyer!
P.P.S - limpbikzit.com? Way to go, UG.

i know what you mean there. i always thought limps music wasn't half bad. wes was a completely original guitarist. sam had some really good basslines as well and the drummer wasn't half bad either.

I know he didn't get much notice with his side project Black Light Burns, but you should check it out. Freaking awesome stuff!
Ya, I gave up on LB after Significant Other (may it's because I got out of HS around that point lol). It just sounds like the same old recycled crap. I like the riff and Wes is a helluva riff writer. And the rhythm section is always pretty good, but eh.....
I love it. The music more so than the video. Yes, Fred Durst is a complete douchebag, we know this. But the chicks were hot and the music kicked ass (much better than Shotgun), so I give it a thumbs up.
Well I'll be damned! This new stuff isn't too bad! I actually really enjoyed that, and thank god Wes Borland is still the twisted dude he has always been. By the way, that drummer had some nice little groove parts too.
woowwww.. ridiculously nostalgic now. has it really been that long..i've moved on lonnnggg ago.. but that was awesome!! at least they embraced what made them so popular and are still fully about it
The intro to the song got me excited. . . could of gone without all the boobs but i get what they are doing with the video. Glad to see em back in action.
Well, I guess that did sound like Limp Bizkit. So obviously 12 yr olds and frat boys are gonna like it.
well im not 12 anymore and certainly not a frat boy. but to be honest i was a huge fan of these guys when i was a kid (listened to em since 2 dolla bill thru choco starfish. everything else sucked). so to correct your statement, it'l be fratboys and guys like me who were fans at age 12 who will be getting this album (i'm 21 now btw).

i don't usually troll/correct people...but it was "3 dollar bill y'all$"
I think that if Manson didn't have John5 at the time, I could easily have envisioned Wes playing guitar for him. Good to see him still kickin' ass with LB.
They're writing good music again, so they don't need bouncing tits and lamborghinis in their videos to sell it. unless they actually thought that stuff was cool, and then.. eh. oh well, good song though.
I don't think it's been mentioned, but I'm pretty sure this is their sixth album. There was 3 Dollar Bill Y'all, Significant Other, Choclate Starfish, Results May Vary, Unquestionable Truth, and now this. That makes six.
Also, Wes Borland is not that good. Actually, the way I see it, he is visually the most creative in the band, but musically, he's the weakest part of the band. Sam Rivers and John Otto are much better at what they do. Even Fred Durst is better at what he does. And I like the way his voice sounds, sometimes, even if he is a giant douchebag.
All that being said, I thought this song sucked terribly. And UFC-core is a very accurate description. I like the UFC, but their music choices blow so hard. The only times you get to hear good music through UFC is when John Fitch comes out to CCR, or something along those lines.
fred durst leaked the album himself, its pretty damn good. It's no chocolate starfish but i wasn't expecting that.
I just hope people can just listen to the music without stigma and resorting to the stupid "nu metal is old and shit" comments. but im sure it'll happen. kudos limp bizkit.
It's a bit like the Deftones you see. They're all in their 40's and they still want to remind us they're not dead !
Great to see that.
I always used to think that when people get older, the "softer" they became but apparently it's not always the case !
other than that, I don't understand all the lyrics but it's not a problem =)
Concerning this video, there is absolutely no surprise in the audio section, but for the clip, they reached a new level of pure machism °_°
Not enough freakin' babes like this in France =)
And if this isn't the best LP song, Wes did a pretty good job on that one.
And .. he's the weakest part of the band ? really ?
Wes IS and has always been the major strength of LP for me and for many others listeners in the past years !

The Unquestionable Truth is an EP. EP's don't count as albums.
Well I'm glad Limp Bizkit is back in the sense because I like their second and third albums. However, this song is god awful. Guitar riff is good sure, but as usual with Limp Bizkit the drums and the bass lack. The drums are good in that they keep a good beat. But John Otto is hardly a good drummer, he has double bass and all these cymbals and never uses them. I'd say he uses maybe an eighth of his drumset. I play drums, I've been playing them for 16 years now. And I've been playing bass for 10 years. The only bassists that impress me are the ones that don't follow the guitar part. Wes is the only one in that band with real talent, just too bad he didn't get anywhere as a solo artist, or with someone else

If you think Sam Rivers' bass lines are weak you haven't listened to Sour, Rearranged, and Boiler to name a few

He worked with Reznor and Maynard on the Tapeworm stuff, right?
Either way. I can't listen to the song. The video has been taken down due to copyright issues. Great job, UG.
Man I hated Bizkit so bad when I was a teen. Been so long the hate has worn off. Still wont buy this, but hell, they kept their musical integrity; this sounds exactly like the Bizkit I heard a decade ago, & this'll probably work out for them. Fred & Em really should try it out again...

Fuck man, I loved it and I am 45 years old! It had a kick ass riff and killer bass tone, and Fred, well he is just Fred, ya need an over blown front man for this shit to sell!
This Limp Bizkit song isn't that great. I hope the rest of the album is better. The video was typical Limp Bizkit, and I can actually see them doing an affiliated video with some MMA footage or something like that in it, Limp Bizkit totally has that "dude" UFC/MMA vibe to it, maybe their comeback is a good thing?
It wasn't anywhere as bad as I thought it would be, but Nu-Metal/Rap has had its day really. Props to them for keeping on, doing what they love though.

Have you not heard Black Light Burns?? He's a fantastic singer. Black Light Burn was a fantastic solo project from him and a nice change of pace from everything else he has done.
If Borland was really that good, which he isnt, there would be no reason for the costume, he would be able to stand on his musicianship alone. Unfortunately what the younger generation looks at as good guitar playing becomes mediocre when look at by older, more accomplished players....
Great album (Fred D. leaked it a few days ago), buying it on the 1st day.
It's simply LB - if you hated 'em, you still will. But hell, haters are not worth attention, they don't like it, ok. I love it. Wes is the $#|+, most kickass guitar player I ever heard, and also a great singer (check out Black Light Burns, his project), he delivers riff blasts like crazy (Bring It On or Autotunage are among the best riffs I ever heard), has his pretty fcuked up style and such a powerful sound. The rest of the band backs him doing a great job and Fred (who's lyrics are so crappy that it's pretty fun to listen to once more) is just... Fred. Great album.

You sound like a pompous *******.
Borland is a good guitarist. I'm sorry he doesn't fit your definition of good, but he's pretty much strictly a rhythm guitarist. Especially in Limp Bizkit. I hate Fred Durst's persona as much as the next guy, but the music is generally pretty entertaining to the ear. It may not be overly compicated or anything, but it's all about rhythm and progression; which is awesome because too many bands worry about lead guitar and being fast and junk. And his costumes are entertaining. It's fun. I would love it if more bands did crazy make-up and shit because it's fun to look at. He's not trying to distract people from his guitar playing. If anything, I think the make-up causes people to think about what he's actually doing. More people will look at him and actually pay attention to what he's doing. He's a damn fine guitar player. He's just different and you should enjoy that.
