X Factor runner-up Marcus Collins has released a cover of The White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" as his debut single. Listen to the track below.
The cover will be formally released on March 4, a week before the singer drops his self titled debut album on March 12.
He said: "I'm a huge fan of the original Seven Nation Army and I hope people like my take on it. I'm so happy to be releasing my debut album and can't wait for everyone to hear it."
This is the same as Ben L'Oncle Soul's cover. (Which is great by the way)

Wow, it really is! I don't know why I'm shocked about that but I am. Presumably under copywrite law they won't have to give Ben L'Oncle Soul credit for his arrangement because it's a cover. Stay tuned for more dirty tricks from Cowell & Co.
All the balls have been sucked out of the song in this cover. Yet another example of an intelligent and innovative musician being covered by a talent show reject hack who never worked hard to become a proper musician.
I never understood why people do a cover of a song for their single, especially as a debut track. Cool, you did a cover of a song with 4 chords, really shows off your talent as a musician.
C.W. Stoneking's version is my favorite as far as covers. I hate when people go on shows like X-Factor & American Idol then release shit & try to pass it as music. Really, I hate shows like X-Factor & American Idol.
