Mastodon have revealed a new video for "Dry Bone Valley".
The clip below which features photography, new vector art and old wood carvings, was directed and animated by Tim Biskup. It is not clear whether the song will be released as an individual single, or just to promote the album.
The band recently confirmed that it would tour with Opeth and Ghost for a North American tour in April, before taking a break and visiting Europe for the festival season.
Mastodon has been nominated for two Grammy awards for the album "The Hunter", with one specifically for the single "Curl Of The Burl". It is not their first nomination - the band was also credited in 2006 with a nomination for "Colony Of Birchmen" from "Blood Mountain".
With "The Hunter" reaching the top 10 of the Billboard Chart, it's looking like another successful album run for the band. However, opening week sales for the new album were 2,000 less than their previous effort "Blood Mountain", according to Blabbermouth.
