The performance clip was shot by Metallica's longtime friend and collaborator, famed video director Wayne Isham, on December 13, 2008 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California and December 12, 2008 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California.

So we invited our good friend Wayne Isham and his crew to join us for a few shows in California in December of 2008 . . . Wayne Isham, 50, is an American movie director who has directed music videos of many popular artists such as Mцtley Crьe, Simple Plan, Avenged Sevenfold, Pantera, 'N Sync, Shania Twain, Godsmack, britney Spears, Leona Lewis, Pink Floyd, Sheryl Crow, Joss Stone, Madonna, Avril Lavigne, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi, among others.
