New Rush Tracks Surface Online
A number of full tracks from the latest album by Canadian prog giants Rush are now streaming in full online. The songs, which have been posted on YouTube, represent the majority of the band's latest album, "Clockwork Angels", which will be released on June 12th through Anthem/Roadrunner records. The full tracklisting for the album is as follows: 01. Caravan 02. BU2B 03. Clockwork Angels 04. The Anarchist 05. Carnies 06. Halo Effect 07. Seven Cities Of Gold 08. The Wreckers 09. Headlong Flight 10. BU2B2 11. Wish Them Well 12. The Garden The album, which has been produced by Nick Raskulinecz features a storyline that features "lost cities, pirates, anarchists, an exotic carnival, and a rigid Watchmaker who imposes precision on every aspect of daily life". A novelisation of the album by renowned science fiction author Kevin J. Anderson is also being released. Rush will be touring Europe in support of the album in 2013. The dates are as follows: 05/22 - Manchester, UK - Arena 05/24 - London, UK - O2 Arena 05/26 - Birmingham, UK - LG Arena 05/28 - Sheffield, UK - Motorpoint Arena 05/30 - Glasgow, Scotland - SECC 06/04 - Cologne, Germany - Arena 06/06 - Berlin, Germany - O2 Arena The band will also perform at this year's Sweden Rock festival which takes place between June 5-8, 2013. This is the first time that the band has performed at a music festival in 34 years. Pinkpop festival in 1979 was the last time that the band played a festival gig.
