This according to bassist Tony Kana, who likened their new track "Push And Shove" to the Queen classic in an interview with Rolling Stone.
The track, which follows "Settle Down" as the second single off No Doubt's comeback album, wildly crosses various genres and tempos, bouncing between reggae-infused beats and a slow, swooning chorus. The Diplo-produced song also features Major Lazer and Busy Signal.
"Push and Shove" made its world premiere on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday.
To promote their first new release in more than a decade, Gwen Stefani and co. are set to perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Sept. 25, the same day the album will hit shelves. "One of No Doubt's very first stops on their reunion tour in 2009 was The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the band wrote on Facebook. "It's time to continue that tradition! The band will perform live on the show again next month during Push And Shove release week."
I really donīt like the direction they have taken with rocksteady and forth. This sounded cool in the previews, but i think they kinda butchered it with the production. I donīt like how the music is almost an inaudible muffled mess, it seems that the vocals are the most important part in this song and in settle down. That wasnīt the appeal to me on albums prior to Rocksteady.
Iīm often one of the guys that approves when bands changes their sound, but this time it flew over my head, again... Atleast it might be better than rocksteady?
No Doubt just don't care what the fans want. They only care what'll play on the radio. They said they were going back to their roots, but they've made some Gwen Stefani B-sides. So disappointed. And that video with all the product placement?!?! The bottom line is money and nobody gives a fck
No Doubt has revealed their "Bohemian Rhapsody."according to bassist Tony Kana
What f**king drugs is this douce bag on. Obviously good ones. The song sounds like an add for MTV or something. So terrible
the same commercialized crap released every single week, im not hating but honestly they're really generic. but hey, everything that is garbage does well in the industry these days.
