"For months now, we've promised that we'd be releasing some new songs before the end of the year. Well, here is where we finally make good on all of that. This club is our way of getting these songs directly to the Paramore family.
Adding: "We really wanted to do something special for all of you around the holidays to thank you for making 2011 so amazing and sticking with us as we go into 2012 and start working on the new album. So, without making this any longer than it already is, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for believing in us."
The project was set up to unveil a new single every month until Christmas. The final installment, "In The Mourning", will be released on 5 December.
It's nothing special or new. I do still like Paramore but I'd much rather listen to Half Noise (Zac Farros new project) now.
Excited to see if Novel American actually come out with something new or end up like Paramore without a female singer.
Tbh, Hayley alone was never enough to keep me interested in Paramore. This could be any band singing this, its very mediocre and doesn't stand out like previous songs have. Farro borthers are missed.
Sounds like Paramore's being forced into going on. Let's face it, the Farros were about 70% of the great sound Paramore had, Hayley could as well be the other 30%. But without the brothers' grain of sand, Paramore keeps sinking more and more. I liked Monster, I honestly thought they had a chance, but I guess not.
Yeah, Sadly disappointed. Songs like Conspiracy, Pressure, should guide paramore, Hayley needs to listen old records. I think Old Band members are crying in their bedrooms.
Of course it's not going to sound the same, two of them have left have left! It's damn good that they are still going, no matter what they do!
And to be fair... Hayley is pretty hot.
The song is catchy, but like was said before, I think the music is watered down from previous stuff. The drums have seemed so plain in their new releases (there are like no fills at all).

How is that fair? Discounting how poor the track is because the singer's hot..? Makes....sense?
So far I liked Renegade, it sounds like it could have come off their first album, and I really like this song too, it's very different than anything they've done before, looking forward to In the Mourning.

I've been a huge paramore fan since '05 but they're nothing without the farro brothers. This is just the way taylor writes, it's not developed from the early b-sides like O Star and such. This song is not paramore. I liked the darker sound they approached with BNE and monster showed hope of keeping that up, but not now.
wow, no offence to any die hard paramore fans...but this really sounds like a B-Side that would come off Avril Lavinges SK8r B0i single. Really fogettable.
wow, this shows how important the rest of the band was, im not worried about different but this is real cheesy. im not a diehard Paramore fan but i like them enough for this to be disappointing.
I do like this song but, its so...so.... I dont even know, I guess the word im looking for is "plain" yep that sums it up, dont get me wrong its good but, they've done so SO much better in the past.
erm....no, i do like the first 2 albums, some stuff on the 3rd on but not all, but this? well i'll say that the sound has changed without the brothers but i think it's taken a huge kick to the bollcks in doing so, nah it's just not something for me.
Come on, it's not half as awful as all of you are making it out to be. It's nothing special as compared to their previous releases, but jeez. It's not terrible.
Personally, I didn't like their last album, but I thought Monster was a step in the right direction. Too bad Renegade and this song have both been steps backwards...
I don't know whats going on but paramore is in a tailspin as far as i'm concerned.
They need to add two more permanent members to replace the farro's and hope they bring some new influence because they're turning into a pop band real fast.
Hmm another band led by a female lead singer where the lead singer inevitably decides to choose ego and go the diva popstar route. I actually liked the guitar on the older paramore stuff, so I wish the farro brothers well with their new band "novel american" (bad name, imo). lesson: choose a male lead singer.
I think if they get their hands on a new drummer with a distinct style, they can turn it around. But as of right now, I don't know how itll turn out. This song is alright, but Renegade was pretty dang unoriginal...
Obviously Paramore's not gonna be the same anymore. Even I, a die-hard Pmore fan thought this song was... Interesting and also kinda sad cos' it's not what they used to sound like. I didn't expect it to be though. Although.. You all just sound like you expected Paramore to stay the same even after the Farro brothers left. But... To be honest, this actually is sort of an improved version of their demos back in the old days. Go listen to them and some of them actually sound like this. I don't get why everyone is saying that they've changed too much. It's not all their fault, besides the record company (FBR) makes most of the song decisions for them. Like any other label. C'mon people. IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON AND LET GO OF THE PAST. Lets face it, Paramore is most likely not going back to the past. What about we all try and actually appreciate what they try to give to us.
Didn't do anything for me. I thought her voice sounded a bit different, but beyond that the songwriting didn't draw me in like a lot of their old stuff did.
The mix was just atrocious... if that is what it sounds like on the album (for all of the songs) I'd fire the engineer...
It's bland, it's single worthy I guess. Her voice sounds strained as hell though, anyone else get that feeling? I'll check the album out, but if this song is any indication of what it'll sound like, I'm gonna pass on it as a whole. I'll wait and see I guess.
Double post, yeah sorry. I've gotta say going back to listening to their first albums, it's raw. This song is really engineered (badly) and I don't like that, I like the raw sound. Didn't know the Farro brothers left and started a new project. Definitely gonna check them out.
Renegade had me for the most part, but yeah this is just really sterile by-the-books pop rock with pseudo-jazz vocal styles. It's ridiculous how watered down this band got within a few years. They really need to reassess what they're doing here.
