RATM Frontman Releases Video For New Project

The first video from One Day As A Lion’s self-titled 2008 EP was released this week. One Day as a Lion is a project made up of Zach De La Rocha of Rage Against The Machine and drummer Jon Theodore, formerly of The Mars Volta.

The video for "Wild International" can be viewed here. Additionally, the video is available for purchase via iTunes here for $1.99.

The five-song EP is in stores now and can also be purchased right through iTunes. CD and LP versions of it can be bought here along with other merchandise.

Rage Against The Machine broke up in 2000 only to reunite in 2007 to continue touring together. With band members busy working on other projects, there are still no plans to record a new record.

Keeping the busiest of the band members is guitarist Tom Morello who has already released two solo albums as The Nightwatchman and is currently working on a new project with Boots Riley of The Coup called Street Sweeper. Street Sweeper will be touring this summer with Nine Inch Nails and Jane’s Addiction and plan to have an album out before the end of the year.

I saw Tom Morello with Boots Riley live and they played some Street Sweeper songs, they were incredible, It reminded me SO much of RATM!!! It was incredible!

Their EP is cool, but the hip-hop style is a waste of Jon Theodore's talent. They should bring him into Rage. Him and Tom Morello playing together would be off the fuggin' hook.

Adam Gontier was just a vocal guest on an Apocalyptica song. Apocalyptica themselves are a band comprised of cellos and a drummer, nothing else. Otherwise, they have nothing to do with Three Days Grace. Although the song I Don't Care is extremely similar to Three Days Grace, their instrumentals (aka most of their stuff) is quite original and really good.
