Trent Reznor and his film scoring career is taking leaps and bounds, and his latest soundtrack for "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" spans a whopping three hours and 39 songs across three CDs.
It includes an electronic Led Zeppelin cover, featuring Yeah Yeah Yeahs front woman Karen O, which you can hear in the player below.
The Nine Inch Nails mastermind worked once again with long-term collaborator Atticus Ross, as Reznor describes:
"For the last fourteen months Atticus and I have been hard at work on David Fincher's 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.' We laughed, we cried, we lost our minds and in the process made some of the most beautiful and disturbing music of our careers."
It is not the first time Reznor has worked with director David Fincher. His Facebook movie "The Social Network" was scored by the same team, and ultimately proved to be an impressive pairing.
You can buy the album in multiple formats. As well as a digital releast, you can buy a three-CD digipack or deluxe vinyl package, limited to 3,000 copies. If you prefer, you can get a 35 minute sampler for free from Reznor's Null Corperation label. The soundtrack will be released on December 9.
