Shinedown fans have a ways to go before the March 27th release of their fourth album "Amaryllis" but can now get a preview of the album right here.
Shinedown are set to follow-up the biggest release of their career with their new album "Amaryllis" this spring. Whether or not they will trump the success "The Sound Of Madness" enjoyed is still unknown but if the latest taste of the new record is any indication - they have a good shot.
You can hear previews of the title track as well as "Adrenaline", "Unity", "Through The Ghost", "Nowhere Kids", and more at Shinedown’s official website - for more on "Amaryllis" - check out our official preview of the album.
Shinedown was announced as the headliners for this year’s Avalanche tour, which will also feature Adelitas Way and rotating support from Art Of Dying and New Medicine (click here for dates).
I knew when they said they were working on a follow-up to the Sound of Madness that they wouldn't be able to top it, so I'm not expecting much for this. But here's to hoping!
This song let me down. I had high expectations for this new album after "The Sound Of Madness". After hearing the first single I don't feel so confident or comfortable with it. Hopefully this isn't one of the best songs out of that album. If it is I think it's safe to say we just saw the peek of Shinedown and now their starting to go down.
Well think of it this way--"The Sound Of Madness" was an awesome album (even the b-sides were tremendous) but look at what came immediately after that: Diamond Eyes. THAT definitely sounds like it would fit better on this album than with the songs on Madness. Still, I'd take the worst of Shinedown over the best of a ton of other bands out there today.
