Slash: Six Songs From Solo Album Available For Streaming
Four complete tracks from Slash's first solo album, entitled "Slash", have been posted online ahead of the CD's release. Two of the songs "Watch This" and "By The Sword" can be heard using the audio player below. Four other songs have been posted at the following sites:

  • "I'll Hold On": Audio via Espn.com 12 minutes' worth of behind-the-scenes footage from the making of "Slash" can be viewed in two parts here: Part 1, Part 2 The clips contain footage from the recording sessions for the CD, including appearances by Fergie, Kid Rock, Lemmy Kilmister, Adam Levine of Maroon 5, M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop, and Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother. "By The Sword", the first single from "Slash", will be released as a digital single on March 28. The track was co-written by and features a guest appearance by Andrew Stockdale of the Australian retro-rock combo Wolfmother. "Slash" was produced by Eric Valentine (Queens Of Stone Age, The All-American Rejects) and was completed with the rhythm section of bassist Chris Chaney (Jane's Addiction) and drummer Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails). "Slash" will be released in North America on April 6 via EMI Label Services and in the UK on May 10 through Roadrunner Records.
