The Darkness Roll Out New Song

The original lineup of The Darkness debuted a new song, "Nothin's Gonna Stop Us" today. It is the band's first new track in six years. The song and video both available on the band’s official site, www.theactualdarkness.com. The video was created by artist Thom Lessner and director Ted Passon. "Nothin’s Gonna Stop Us" is from the band's forthcoming yet-to-be-titled third album.

Also on February 1, The Darkness will kick off their first North American tour since 2004 to a sold-out crowd in Toronto. The trek wraps on February 25 in Seattle.

I think their new album has some serious potential, judging from that. Then again, I loved both of their previous albums.

Loved the video. I remain hopeful that they DO call the album Solos-R-Us :P

not bad a bad song... I hope there are some heavier riffs or cool solos on the rest o the album though. They take alot of influence from AC/DC and Thin Lizzy among others, and if they do it right they can be a really awesome sounding band. But so far I really only heard that cool combo of influence from their smash single a few years back though, which is probably why that was their only big hit.

Great to see them back! I'm hoping for the sound that One Way Ticket had, but I highly doubt it if it's the original bassist.

Still, I'm very excited to see these guys kicking it out again. It's been too long!
