As previously rumored, Them Crooked Vultures released the song "New Fang" as their first single yesterday (Oct 26). The single is available via streaming video on YouTube.
It is not the first studio clip released by the band, but it is the first studio song to be released in full. A number of live songs recorded by fans over a couple of US dates are available on YouTube as well.
The rock super group, consisting of
Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age) on guitar and lead vocals,
Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana) on drums, and
John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) on bass, have been generating a ton of buzz since their debut in August.
Their eponymous first album is set to be released in the US on November 17th. They will also be touring overseas in England and Australia following the album's release. No word yet if any additional US dates are in the works.
