Watch Kirsten Dunst In The Video For REM's 'We All Go Back To Where We Belong'
R.E.M. may be calling it quits, but they won't be leaving fans with a last look at the band. Actress Kirsten Dunst and poet and performance artist John Giorno are in the respective spotlights in two different videos for the disbanding rock act's "We All Go Back Where We Belong", R.E.M.'s final single and the lead track from upcoming greatest hits set "Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage, 1982-2011". Like minimalist screen tests, the black-and-white clips feature their two solo subjects silently showcasing a range of subtle facial movements, with both videos concluding with smiles. The greatest hits is due Nov. 15 on Warner Bros., the group's longtime label. R.E.M. announced its break-up in September with a note on its website. "We walk away with a great sense of gratitude, of finality, and of astonishment at all we have accomplished. To anyone who ever felt touched by our music, our deepest thanks for listening," the trio wrote at the time. Watch the videos below:
