Alabama Thunderpussy will kick off the three week tour on March 8 in Raleigh, NC. This tour will include the band's fifth SXSW performance at the annual Relapse Records SXSW Showcase in Austin, TX on March 15 at Room 710. Additionally,
ATP recently completed work on their first video from
Open Fire. The video, for the track "
Words of the Dying Man", was shot in their hometown of Richmond, VA with local creative collective Day By Day (Lamb Of God, Municipal Waste). The "Words of the Dying Man" video is scheduled to make it's international debut in late February.
Preview tracks off of Open Fire, which is set for a March 6 North American release date (March 12 internationally), can be heard via the band's official MySpace page, and PureVolume page.
