Back Door Slam Reveal Album, Tour

Back Door Slam, the newest signing to independent Blix Street Records (best known for the Eva Cassidy catalog).

They made their U.S. debut at SXSW and are on tour to build support for their debut CD called "Roll Away" which will be released in July when they will open for Rusted Root on tour.

Taking their name from the Robert Cray blues classic, Back Door Slam is fronted by 19-year-old guitar prodigy Davy Knowles, who also writes most of the songs.

Hailing from England's Isle of Man-hardly a bastion for the blues-this power trio with shades of Eric Clapton, John Mayall and even early Fleetwood Mac, is poised to fill the void left by the late Stevie Ray Vaughan.
