Vancouver-based, New Zealand-bred hard rockers Like A Storm - who strike a balance between warm electronics and massive hard rock - have been invited to support Creed on 18 dates on their reunion tour, from August 6 through September 2. The trek will include stops at Nikon @ Jones Beach in Wantagh, NY, Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, VA and First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Chicago, IL.
On August 12,
Like A Storm will release the darkly infectious song "
Chemical Infatuation" to radio. Described by the band as "
a heavy and ambient journey," the single is taken from the group’s forthcoming debut CD
The End Of The Beginning, out later this year via the Prospect Park label.
Like A Storm recently debuted the video for "Chemical Infatuation" on AOL Music. Directed by David Yarovesky, the memorably surreal and twisted video about a serial killer can be viewed here.
On The End Of The Beginning - helmed by multi-platinum producer/mixer/engineer Mike Plotnikoff (Three Days Grace/My Chemical Romance/ Buckcherry) - the quartet stir up a torrent of infectious hard rock, conjuring a dynamic rock sound that's simultaneously ethereal and edgy. The disc is an avalanche of captivating choruses and hard-hitting grooves.
Like A Storm - Chris Brooks (vocals/guitar/programming/ didgeridoo), Matt Brooks (vocals/guitar/programming), Kent Brooks (bass/vocals/ programming) and Thomas Karanasos (drums) - formed in 2005 in their native New Zealand and moved to Vancouver soon after to pursue their rock n’ roll dream.
