Nikki Sixx Shares The Heroin Diaries

Nikki Sixx is back with an unflinching biography and new album, "The Heroin Diaries." The album hits stores on August 20th and is followed by the book on September 25th.

Nikki Sixx rose to fame when he started Motley Crue with friend Tommy Lee in 1981. The band went to the top of the charts and dominated rock and roll in the early 80s. Nikki Sixx and Motley Crue lived the sex, drugs, and rock and roll lifestyle that people could hardly imagine.

"The Heroin Diaries" chronicles a year in Nikki's life and tells the story of being in the biggest rock band in the world all the while standing on the brink of destruction with a punishing heroin addiction. If you like Motley Crue and the best-selling book "The Dirt" you will love "The Heroin Diaries" book and the soundtrack.

The soundtrack that accompanies the book features 12 tracks, one for each chapter of the book. The album's first single is the track "Life Is Beautiful." The track is available for download on The Heroin Diaries Myspace page for a limited time.

I've been waiting around two years for this book, and I am happy that i actully looks like it's gonna come out. And with music too, thats too good.

The Dirt is proably one of the best books you can read, and proably one of the best books ever written. Tommyland is also a great book, but then again any book where the author starts out talking to his manhood, is just classic.

If this book is half as good as "The Dirt" it'll be worth it. The Crue epitomize what rock 'n' roll debauchery of the '80s. They were and still are my favorite band of that era and, for me, it was as much about the attitude they had as the music.

The Dirt is THE best book written. period. The only band that can compare to Motley in the day was Aerosmith, and Aero's book can't even touch The Dirt.

wow more drug talk i cant go through one day without hearing someone on tv or in public talking about their drug addiction. i guess its a good buy if you want to hear about nikki's ecounter with ****ing lots of girls, being wild , and shooting juice in his veins.
