Psychostick Climbs The Radio Charts

artist: psychostick date: 03/31/2009 category: press releases
rating: 0 / votes: 0

Psychostick's campaign for their upcoming album, Sandwich, is really heating up, with the band moving up on the FMQB Metal Detector chart from #52 to #21! Psychostick has also climbed the CMJ Loud Rock Select Albums chart from #56 to #28, doubling in spins. The band remains in the Top Ten on the CMJ Loud Rock chart, and Psychostick’s first single, "Passive Vengeance," debuted at #38 on the CMJ Loud Rock Select Singles chart.

Currently streaming on Psychostick’s official MySpace page are three new tracks from Sandwich – "This Is Not A Song, It’s A Sandwich," "Girl Directions," and "You’ve Got Mail Enhancement" - and fan response has been overwhelmingly favorable. The band is also taking pre-orders for Sandwich.

Sandwich, which streets May 5 on Rock Ridge Music, is the full-length follow-up to 2006’s We Couldn’t Think Of A Title. The album was recorded by guitarist Josh Key at Toxic Recording in Gilbert, Arizona, and features new members Jake McReynolds on second guitar and former Indorphine vocalist Jimmy Grant on bass. Rounding out the band roster are Alex Preiss (drums), and Rob Kersey (vocals).
