After wrapping a handful of sold-out dates opening for The Fray in Australia and a number of solo headlining gigs in the Philippines, Secondhand Serenade lands on US soil only to hit the road immediately with Red Jumpsuit Apparatus on a tour that kicks off on April 2nd. Secondhand Serenade (aka John Vesely) will hit the highway in support of a new single, "Maybe," from his sophomore album, A Twist In My Story.
iTunes recently tapped
Vesely to record an acoustic performance for the
Live From SoHo EP series, which will be available on April 14th. With the EP,
Secondhand Serenade joins the ranks of some of today’s biggest hit-makers, including
Kings Of Leon,
Maroon 5,
Gavin DeGraw,
Taylor Swift,
Jonas Brother, and
Linkin Park, to name a few.
Vesely also recently filmed an acoustic performance of "Fall For You" and "Your Call" for IHeartMusic.com’s Stripped segment, which is featured on over 100 Clear Channel CHR Pop and Hot AC radio stations across the country. See the performance here.
Secondhand Serenade recently released a deluxe edition of A Twist In My Story. The two disc (CD/DVD) package contains a new version of "Your Call," as well as bonus tracks including live and acoustic tracks, and a cover of Coldplay’s "Fix You." The DVD includes all Secondhand Serenade music videos and a behind-the-scenes documentary.
With a platinum single ("Fall For You"), national TV performances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live and the CBS Early show, and a #1 video on MTV ("Your Call"), Secondhand Serenade fervor has spread overseas. A Twist In My Story is available on four other continents and "Fall For You" is certified gold in Australia.
