When asked if he’s tried the song out himself, Erak says “I actually have tried playing it but I don't really feel the need to play the game. I already do it in real life!"

take that guitar hero. haha. awsome band. going to see them in the states

"and who better to do so with than with Canadian metal-gods, Protest The Hero. "

Ahem.....someone needs to fix that grammatical error, it almost sounds like they're call PTH metal. Someone fix it....now...

Fall of Roy? Who the hell are these guys? Ahh, wait a minute, they can play barre chords they must be awesome, just like all the other bands that are the *****s at the corporate gang-bang.

Bill Hicks was right, but you are not. Actually listen to a song before you act like you know what you're talking about.

And Magero, how are Protest NOT Metal? Can you elaborate on that one....?

What he said.

Is Black actually good then?
Obvously he's good enough, but I know nothing about him, and he might be amazingly talented for all I know.
Hm.

Actually listen to a song before you post a stupid comment like that. TFOT is one of the most technical bands in the rock scene today!

Not so much, the worst thing they've done is put out a decent album after two mindblowers. Their shows are, as always, unbelievable. Just wait till Phantom on the Horizon gets released

I'd love to set up something like a review of the show, I'm going on May 2nd in Montreal, I couldn't do an interview, I'd most likely faint!

But how does that work, you need my e-mail or something then?

actually bro. im pretty sure Thomas Erak could outplay you in his sleep. he is VERY talented and actually uses alot more than barre chords and power chords. get your facts strait before you get on here and make an ass of yourself.

My friends going to the Winnipeg show with TFoT, Coheed and PTH, I'm so jealous. I do get Chiodos and PTH in my city, but TFoT go down into the US after they're done with Western Canada.

I'd kill to see TFoT, they're one of my favourite bands.

sundayserenade :
To the guy asking if Frank Black is any good, he does guitar and vocals in his own band, which is very fot-esque, his screams are as good as Tims, and he is probably a lot better at bass than Tim as well. And also he might even be writing now, so the new record could be something amazingly different.

I was impressed when I saw FOT live in Austin with Coheed , Thomas Erak straight up was like shredding away while singing, if anyone thinks he plays barre chords holy crap listen to Whacko Jacko Steals the Elephant Man's bones, he's just shredding in 6/7 time while singing... psycho!
