The original Idol is back with a killer career spanning best of collection with a deluxe DVD set including 13 Music Videos and album art by Shepard Fairey.
The two new songs “John Wayne” and “New Future Weapon” find Billy pairing with his long time musical partner Steve Stevens. The tracks were produced Josh Abraham (Velvet Revolver’s “Contraband”) and bring the well know rock n’ roll essence of Billy Idol but these tracks, but carry the with them the weight and experience of an artist who has been in the rock spotlight for nearly 30 years.
“John Wayne” showcases a stripped down and much darker sound that carries the weight of legendary status of Billy Idol and quit frankly is a career “re-defining” song.
Mr. idol will be debuting his new material on the Jimmy Kimmel show is Los Angeles on June 24th and will be on tour through out the U.S. and Europe through out the summer.
